Location

Global — open to young people aged 4–25 worldwide. Selected artworks will be exhibited in Sharjah (UAE), Auckland (New Zealand), and Venice (Italy).

Deadline

Submission deadline: November 30, 2026. Shortlist announcement: December 2026. Exhibitions and winners announcement: December 2026 – January 2027.

Competition Category

Four art forms:

  1. Painting & Drawing — any surface (paper, canvas, cardboard, etc.); paints, pastels, pencils, charcoal, watercolour, oil, acrylic, collage, and unconventional media all accepted;
  2. Photography — all types of photographs from any camera, including smartphone, point-and-shoot, DSLR, mirrorless, or film camera;
  3. Digital Art & Illustration — digital painting, illustration, graphic design, 3D modeling, animation, etc. (AI-generated works are not admissible in this category);
  4. AI Generative Art — creativity made using AI-powered tools, blending human imagination with machine learning.

Four themes (choose one or more):

① Our Amazing World — celebrate the beauty, diversity and wonder of the world, or imagine a world that exists only in your imagination;

② The World Below the Water — celebrate underwater worlds, imagine new discoveries, or inspire others to care for water that gives life;

③ Through Nature's Eyes — imagine seeing the world through the eyes of another living being;

④ Together for Tomorrow — share ideas, hopes and imagination for a world where people and nature flourish together.

Eligibility

Open to individuals worldwide aged 4 to 25 as of November 1, 2026. Participants may enter individually or through their school/institution. Multiple entries per category are allowed.

Entry Fee

Paid — US$30 per artwork, regardless of category.

Prizes/Awards

Total cash and in-kind prizes valued at approximately US$50,000. Awards include:

  • 1st Prize: $1,000 (4 prizes)
  • 2nd Prize: $750 (4 prizes)
  • 3rd Prize: $500 (4 prizes)
  • Jury's Choice Award: 30 prizes, e-certificate
  • Honourable Mention: 150 prizes, e-certificate
  • Spotlight Selection: 500 prizes, e-certificate
  • All participating artists receive e-certificates
  • 150 selected artworks will be showcased in international exhibitions in Sharjah, Auckland, and Venice

Judging criteria: creativity, originality, interpretation of the theme, technique, and overall impression.

Core Introduction

The reEarth International Art Prize is an international youth art competition founded on the mission of "Global Dialogue on Climate Change through Art," initiated by reEarth Studio and now in its third edition. Open to young people aged 4–25 worldwide, the competition features four creative formats — painting & drawing, photography, digital art & illustration, and AI generative art — across four themes: Our Amazing World, The World Below the Water, Through Nature's Eyes, and Together for Tomorrow. The international jury comprises renowned artists and curators from the UAE, Austria, Pakistan, Italy, and France. Selected works will be exhibited in Sharjah, Auckland, and Venice. The inaugural season reached students from 90+ countries across six continents, with over 3,000 students participating.
