Core Introduction

The IDC Awards (International Designer Club Awards) is an international design prize contested across the global creative and design community, symbolizing outstanding design achievement that celebrates the power of innovative design. The IDC (International Designer Club) is an elite collective bringing together influential representatives from various design disciplines across Europe, the Americas, Japan, China, and other countries. The IDC Awards aims to break down barriers between design disciplines, support designers driven by core problem-solving, identify new market opportunities for visionary designers, enable cross-disciplinary collaboration, and create new value by solving meaningful problems. The 2026 competition covers six major categories — Visual Communication, Industrial Product, Fashion & Accessories, Space & Environment, Film & Animation, and Multimedia & Interaction — with dozens of subcategories, divided into Professional Designer and Design Student tracks. The jury is composed of design professionals selected by the organizer across participating countries, with each category's jury including members from at least two different continents and nationalities. Evaluation criteria include overall design excellence in aesthetics, communication skills, creativity, functionality, originality, symbolism, and emotional content. Submission requirements: 1–10 image files per entry, A4 size, 300dpi, RGB color mode, JPG format, max 2MB per image; multimedia/film/animation entries require an MP4 demo video not exceeding 100MB. Entries are submitted via email: idca@yahoo.com (Europe/Americas) or idcawards@163.com (Asia). Registration forms are available in Chinese, English, and Japanese. The organizer holds exhibition, publication (including electronic), and collection rights for selected works.
