The project must be conceived as a humanitarian self-construction intervention, prioritizing natural materials, simple construction techniques, and sustainable solutions. The competition is completely non-profit, with all proceeds allocated to improving education, healthcare, and infrastructure in the most fragile areas of Sub-Saharan Africa. The jury includes renowned international architects such as Kengo Kuma, David Adjaye, and Benedetta Tagliabue.
