Core Introduction
Uncharted Territories is known for its stunning visuals that help deepen our understanding of the world, transforming data, maps, and complex global ideas into compelling visual explanations. This competition invites designers to create a poster that could become a memorable object for readers' walls while still communicating a meaningful idea from a UT article or concept. The competition is especially relevant for graphic designers interested in editorial design, data visualization, cartography-inspired design, and visual storytelling. A "Direct Applications" pathway is also available for designers who cannot commit time without guaranteed payment — they may apply directly with their vision for the UT shop and portfolio examples.
