Second Prize: 10 winners, pre-tax prize of 5,000 RMB each
Third Prize: 30 winners, pre-tax prize of 2,000 RMB each
Shortlisted Award: 150 winners
Outstanding Instructor Award: 45 winners, pre-tax prize of 2,000 RMB each
Outstanding Organization Award: 10 winners
After evaluation, the organizers will hold special exhibitions of the winning works. Award winners and outstanding instructors will receive a collection of the competition's winning works. The organizers will establish creative workshops to collaborate with award winners on promoting the transformation and implementation of creative design works.
Core Introduction
One stroke connects civilizations, one character bridges ancient and modern. To inherit the roots of Chinese characters and revitalize cultural heritage, implementing the important directive to "bring the characters in ancient books to life," the China Character Museum leverages its unique advantage as the birthplace of oracle bone inscriptions at Yin Ruins. Collaborating with the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University and Nanjing University of the Arts, we jointly host the 2026 China International Chinese Character Cultural Creative Design Competition. This competition focuses on the revitalization and innovation of Chinese character culture, building a cross-border exchange platform. Using design as a bridge and creativity as wings, we promote the contemporary expression of Chinese character culture, allowing ancient characters to embrace a new era.
