Core Introduction

The KBr Photo Award is an international competition organized every two years by Fundación MAPFRE to recognize and highlight photographers with an established professional career whose work demonstrates artistic values within the tradition of documentary photography . The prize is awarded to unpublished projects and seeks to promote the winner's work through a €25,000 cash prize, an exhibition, and a catalog .
