Competition Category The awards feature four main competitions :
- Professional Competition: For bodies of work, with 10 categories including Architecture & Design, Creative, Documentary Projects, Environment, Landscape, Portraiture, Sport, etc. .
- Open Competition: For single images, with 10 categories including Architecture, Creative, Landscape, Lifestyle, Motion, Natural World & Wildlife, Object, Portraiture, Street Photography, and Travel .
- Student Competition: The theme for this edition is "Together" .
- Youth Competition: For creators aged 19 and under .

- Professional: For photographers submitting a body of work .
- Open: For photographers submitting single shots .
- Student: For photography students .
