Competition Category

• No separate categories; single open theme .
• Special focus on the subtheme: “Protest” .
• Accepts published or self-published books, including zines .
• Not intended for dummies or unpublished projects .

Eligibility

• Unlimited (Open to publishers, photographers, artists, and designers from around the world) .
• Eligible books must be published after January 1, 2023 .

Free .

Prizes/Awards

• Main Prize: €3,000 .
• Best “Protest” Photobook: €500 .
• Best Photobook from Southeast Europe: €500 .
• Selected photobooks will be exhibited at UGM – The Art Gallery Maribor .

Core Introduction

The award celebrates excellence and innovation in contemporary photobook publishing . The fifth edition calls for photobooks published in the last two years, with a special focus on works engaging with the theme of "Protest" .
