Introduction:
Philo-Photo is an annual international photography contest initiated by New Acropolis, an international philosophical organization dedicated to promoting timeless values through philosophy, culture, and volunteering. The competition explores the synergy between philosophy and photography — combining the depth of thought with the power of imagery. The 3rd edition in 2026 carries the theme "Recurring Patterns in Life (Nature and Humanity)," inviting photographers worldwide to capture the rhythms and patterns that resonate across all forms of life — from the spiral of a galaxy to the beat of a heart — revealing the hidden harmony within diversity and the beauty of repetition that leads to change. Entries are assessed by an independent jury, and participants are encouraged to transcend pure subjectivity, seeking balance between artistic expression and philosophical meaning, creating images that spark curiosity and deeper reflection in viewers.
