Eligibility

Dual-track independent judging system:

Professional Division: Open to independent designers, design studios, creative agencies, corporate design departments, and university faculty members worldwide
Student Division: Open to current students enrolled in higher education institutions globally (including associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs), as well as recent graduates within one year of graduation

Awards

Award Setup: Grand Prix (one per category), Gold Award (Top 5%), Silver Award (Top 10%), Bronze Award (Top 20%), and Excellence Award. Winning proportions are calculated separately based on the number of entries in each category.

Core Introduction: Initiated by the International Culture Federation (ICF), the International Cultural Innovation Art Design Award (ICIAD Award) is an authoritative design competition dedicated to the global creative community.
Annual Theme: Symbiosis of Intelligence - In 2026, facing the profound impact of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, the ICIAD Award establishes "Symbiosis of Intelligence" as its annual theme. We are committed to discovering outstanding designs that leverage emerging technologies to revitalize traditional culture, address social and environmental challenges, and demonstrate forward-looking commercial value in the AI era.
Operational Upgrade: Eco-Design - In response to global climate change, the 2026 ICIAD officially launches the "Eco-Design" sustainable operation plan. This edition will fully implement a paperless submission process and a digital honors system, significantly reducing the carbon footprint associated with trophy manufacturing, packaging, and international shipping. The resources saved will be reinvested into expanding our international jury panel and building a premium global online honors gallery, lowering the barrier to entry to uncover the world's most promising design talents.
