Submission Category: There are nine categories: So Far So Close, Colour & Shade, Good Night, Active Moments, Faces, A Heartwarming World, Experimental Lab, Storyboard, and Action. Storyboard is for 3–9 photo narratives, while Action is for video storytelling of up to 10 minutes.

Eligibility: Open worldwide to Huawei phone users aged 18 or above, or those who have reached the age of majority in their legal jurisdiction. All submissions must be captured with a Huawei phone, with no restriction on model. Works should retain complete EXIF information and must not have won another contest or been published in a public periodical. Each participant may upload up to 30 works.

Entry Fee: Free to enter.

Awards & Benefits: A total of 100 works will be selected for XMAGE Awards 2026. Three Grand Prize Winners will each receive an XMAGE creation fund of USD 10,000 and an electronic certificate. The remaining 97 XMAGE 100 winners will each receive an XMAGE creation fund of USD 1,500 and an electronic certificate. The creation funds are pre-tax amounts, and the organizer reserves the right to modify the number of winners.

Core Introduction: HUAWEI XMAGE Awards is Huawei’s annual global photography and imaging competition for mobile creators. The 2026 edition invites Huawei phone users worldwide to submit photos and videos that express personal observation, creativity, and visual storytelling. With nine categories covering daily moments, portraits, night scenes, colour, experimental imagery, photo sequences, and short video, the award offers mobile photographers an international platform for exposure, recognition, and creative funding.
