Innocence is transformed while the subject becomes conscious, responsible, and socially exposed.

As Photometria International Photography Festival reaches its 18th edition, it symbolically enters a phase of maturity. "Coming of Age (18+)" explores the transitional state of growing up—the emergence of autonomy, negotiation of identity, and tension between freedom and responsibility. The theme highlights personal and collective experiences of transition: first decisions, ruptures, moments of emancipation or conformity, and social expectations shaping the concept of "adulthood." Guest judge: renowned photographer Alec Soth.
