- Projects must be completed in or after August 2024
- Projects must be located outside the United States
- The submitting designer/design firm may be based anywhere, including the United States
- Both individual designers and design firms may submit
- Early-Bird Pricing (September 1–8): IIDA Members $350 / Non-Members $450
- Regular Pricing (September 9 – October 5): IIDA Members $450 / Non-Members $550
- Last Chance Pricing (October 6–13): IIDA Members $550 / Non-Members $650
- A maximum of two (2) winners per category, plus one Best of Competition winner selected from category winners
- Winners celebrated at an awards ceremony in Paris, France on February 27, 2027
- Featured on IIDA.org and across IIDA's social media platforms

The IIDA Global Excellence Awards, organized by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), enters its 17th year in 2026. It is one of the most influential annual design competitions in the global interior design community, honoring excellence in originality and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 19 categories. Submissions are judged on excellence in aesthetics, design, creativity, and function, as well as the suitability of the design solution to the project challenge and the successful integration of design elements.
