Core Introduction: Established in 2018, the BIG SEE Awards recognise excellence in architecture, interior design, and product design, honouring outstanding projects and the people behind them — defining the quality, originality, and relevance of contemporary architecture and design. Entries have previously come from 76 countries. The international jury comprises 23 industry experts, including Arnaud Lacoste, Einar Jarmund, Lutz Kucher, Fernando Rodriguez, Roland Sailer, Klaudia Cacic, Julião Pinto Leite, Illka Suppanen, Pascale Sablan, Saskia Huebner, Hervé Potin, Adrianus Kil, Dominic Kacinskas, Amin Taha, Ulla Alberts, Joakim Dørum, Juergen Mayer H., Ramy Abi Antoun, Denis Orlenok, Deividas Juozulynas, Nicolas Ziesel, Kentaro Takeguchi, Jens Martin Skibsted, Rafal Pilat, Teemu Pirinen, Paul Robbrecht, Christian Jurke, Prof. Ron Nabarro, and Emma Olbers. Judging criteria: architecture and interior design — innovation, intelligent design and originality, environmental sensitivity and sustainability, cultural and social awareness, and functionality; product design — ergonomics, aesthetics, ethics, ecology, emotion, and business potential. Submission requirements: each entry must be accompanied by 6–15 high-resolution project photos; architecture and interior design submissions also require vector-based plans and a portrait of the author or author team; application forms must be completed in English. The festival programme includes the Grand Prix Night, a trade show of innovations, and a conference programme.
