Core Introduction: ErgoLympic 2026 is the international edition of a Malaysian ergonomics & human factors design competition now in its fifth iteration (national editions in 2016, 2018, 2021, 2023). The 2026 theme is "Designing Human-Centred Futures: Ergonomics for Products, Mobility, Workplaces and Everyday Living" — every entry must connect to this theme and to one of the eight design tracks. The competition follows a five-stage progression: ① 300–500-word concept brief + 3 visuals (15 May – 30 Jun 2026) → ② Notification, payment & Letter of Acceptance (8–15 Jul) → ③ Quarter-final 3–4-minute video (16–31 Jul) → ④ Semi-final online pitch (10 Aug – 8 Sep) → ⑤ Grand Final live at WTCKL on 21 Sep, with pitching to URIIS industry partners and investors. Judging criteria: Creativity & originality 25% / Application of ergonomics & human-factors 25% / Feasibility 20% / Presentation quality 15% / Impact on target users 15%. Beyond trophies, ErgoLympic 2026 operates as a talent-discovery and industry-matching platform, with finalists receiving access to URIIS 2026's investor and media ecosystem.
