Core Introduction

The Design Educates Awards (DEAwards) celebrate architecture and design that go beyond form and function. The awards seek projects that offer true added value — not only aesthetically and technically pleasing, but also with educational potential, compelling narratives, critical reflection, emotional or behavioral impact, and conscious engagement with users and their environment. The jury consists of world-renowned architects, designers, innovators, and educators, including Pritzker Prize laureate Toyo Ito, Carlo Ratti, Doriana Mandrelli Fuksas, Dang Qun (Co-Founder of MAD), David Basulto (Founder of ArchDaily), and others. The awards ceremony will take place during the "Architecture in Foyer 2026" international conference hosted by the Warsaw University of Technology on October 16, 2026.
