Core Introduction

The 29th international architecture competition by Volume Zero marks a decade of pioneering global design discourse. The competition invites participants to design a 250 sq. ft. living module for two residents, incorporating sleeping, cooking, bathing, working, eating, and storage as a seamless choreography. Participants must imagine 25 units forming a responsive, adaptable community network for 50 residents in an urban context. This edition challenges the global design community to expand the logic of possibility beyond shrinking footprints.
