Eligibility Unlimited (Open to architects, designers, planners, engineers, and students from around the world) .

• Participation is open to individuals or teams of up to 8 members .
• Young and emerging designers are strongly encouraged to participate .

Entry Fee Paid .

• Early Registration (until 31 May): $75 .
• Standard Registration (01 June to 31 Aug): $90 .
• Last Chance Registration (01-12 September): $100 .
• Teams led by students are eligible for a 50% discount on the registration fee .

Prizes/Awards

• First Prize: $6,000 OR a 6-month employment opportunity at Dewan in Dubai, plus an invitation to attend the Award Ceremony (flights and hotel covered) .
• Second Prize: $3,000, plus an invitation to attend the Award Ceremony (flights and hotel covered) .
• Third Prize: $1,000, plus an invitation to attend the Award Ceremony (flights and hotel covered) .
• Honourable Mentions: Certificate, plus an invitation to attend the ceremony (travel expenses not funded) .
• Top 20 Entries: Certificate and publication in various outlets, including the website and exhibitions .

Core Introduction

The competition invites participants from around the world to reimagine Baghdad’s Central Railway Station, a historic landmark . The goal is to transform the station into a sustainable, inclusive, multimodal transport hub through proposals that honor its heritage, integrate with the urban fabric, and reconnect it with the life of the city .
