No special qualifications required. Open to artists and artist groups from all countries, with no restrictions on professional background or age.

Core Introduction

YICCA (International Contemporary Art Competition) is a global competition for contemporary artists organized by the Italian Aps MOHO Association, aimed at promoting artists and providing them access to the international contemporary art market. The competition accepts all forms of artistic work — video, installation, performance, and more — with a professional jury selecting 18 artists to participate in a final physical exhibition held in a European city. Selected works will be featured in the YICCA catalogue, distributed to curators, gallery owners, collectors, and professional institutions. The evaluation mechanism employs a three-party scoring system: the jury, the association, and the host gallery each contribute one-third of the weight, rating works on a 1–10 scale. The opening event includes a reception attended by collectors, press, art professionals, enthusiasts, awardees, and jury members. Artists are responsible for the transportation and insurance of their works to and from the exhibition; Aps MOHO manages the care of works during the exhibition but assumes no liability for damage, theft, or loss. Works not withdrawn within 6 months after the exhibition concludes cannot be reclaimed.
