Core Introduction:
Part of Buildner × ArchDaily's "Contemporary Home" exploration. Set in lush northern Portugal, initiated by a family with generational ties to the land—transforming a former horse barn into a small shared-meal restaurant with lightweight guest accommodation. Participants rethink dining as collective ritual, balancing architecture with atmosphere. The challenge: combine adaptive reuse, spatial clarity, and environmental sensitivity to create spaces where architecture becomes a quiet framework for connection, time, and shared life.
