L A M P 2026 International Lighting Design Competition

Submission Category: The competition has two main categories: Professional and Student. Fixture types include Floor, Table, Pendant, and Sconce. Additional recognition designations include Portable/Rechargeable, Outdoor, Acoustic, Smart/App Connected, Solar, Sustainable, Handmade/Craft, and Sculptural.
Eligibility: The Professional category is open to active designers, artists, industrial designers, architects, design teams, and manufacturers worldwide. A registered business is not required, and submitted work must not have launched before 2023. The Student category is open to individuals or teams enrolled in, or previously enrolled in, a post-secondary design or related artistic program during the 2025–2026 or 2026–2027 academic year.
Entry Fee: Professional: Early Bird USD 125, Regular USD 165, Late USD 195, Extended USD 225; additional entries USD 75 each. Student: Early Bird USD 60, Regular USD 85, Late USD 110, Extended USD 120; additional entries USD 40 each. Optional Jury Feedback Pack: USD 25 for students and USD 35 for professionals. Fees are non-refundable and paid online by credit card through Submittable.
Awards & Benefits: Finalists receive official recognition as L A M P finalists, with cash awards for standout designs. Finalist works receive a dedicated feature on the L A M P website for one year and remain included on the website in perpetuity. Designs will also be promoted through L A M P newsletters, social media, and media partners across architecture, interiors, furniture, art, and technology.
