Open to all — amateur and professional photographers worldwide; any equipment including smartphones; no restrictions on nationality or profession; images may be submitted to as many categories as desired with no limit on the number of submissions

Nature Photographer of the Year: Trophy + personalized certificate + Winners Gallery showcase + international press and publicity (awarded to the participant who stands out across multiple categories)
Tree Planting Initiative: One tree planted for each participant; the overall winner chooses the country where trees will be planted

Core Introduction 

The Nature Photography Contest 2026 is the third edition of this international online photography competition dedicated to raising environmental awareness. The contest aims to showcase the beauty of nature through photography and inspire action for the planet — each participant has a tree planted in their name, with nearly 500 trees planted in the previous edition. The jury consists of three renowned nature photographers: Luke Stackpoole (UK-based, specializing in landscapes and wildlife), Cynthia Bandurek (nature and wildlife photographer with a passion for conservation), and Mario Cea (over 25 years of experience, awarded in Wildlife Photographer of the Year, GDT, and Asferico; collaborates with Canon Spain). The competition features 10 categories with a total of €2,000 in cash prizes. Winners will be announced in March 2027.
