The 16th Arbella International Photography Contest is an annual international photography competition organized by the renowned Turkish food brand Arbella Makarna, created to bring together Turkish photographers with their counterparts around the world and build a global photography platform. The 2026 edition coincides with the 200th anniversary of the invention of photography, paying homage to photography's two-century legacy as one of humanity's most powerful visual storytelling tools for recording the world, people, and life in its truest forms, while also looking toward the future of the medium. The jury comprises internationally acclaimed photographers and visual artists including Barbara Di Maio, Coşkun Aral, Ercan Arslan, İlkay Öztürk, and Sumru Gözaydın. Copyright of submitted photographs remains with the creators; however, award-winning, honorable mention, and exhibition-selected works may be used by the organizer for promotion, communication, and archival purposes with proper attribution to the photographer.
