Core Introduction

PITAKA launches the "Weave Our World" Design Challenge, inviting designers, art students, educators, and creative minds from around the globe to participate. PITAKA has been pushing the boundaries of material aesthetics and textile innovation—merging aeronautical-grade aramid fiber with advanced weaving techniques. Participants are invited to reimagine the surface of PITAKA Phone and Tablet Cases with original patterns and textures. Design formats can include digital rendering, material experimentation, weave structure studies, hand-drawn sketches, or conceptual explorations. The jury panel consists of four experts: installation artist Xie Qiongzhi, Yanko Design Editor-in-Chief Sarang Sheth, Bulgari Head Design Consultant Matteo Menotto, and PITAKA founder James. Evaluation criteria include Weaving Creativity & Originality (30%), Structural Logic & Material Feasibility (30%), Alignment with PITAKA Brand Language (20%), and Product & Market Potential (20%).
