Hybrid Award: Recognizes outstanding work produced through a combination of media and techniques without a single dominant method
Illustrated Award: Recognizes work that uses stylisation, abstraction, atmosphere, and visual language to communicate ideas
Modelled Award: Recognizes outstanding work produced primarily through 3D modelling methods
Visualised Award: Recognizes outstanding visualisation with focus on composition, lighting, atmosphere, materiality, and narrative
Medal Categories:
Creativity Medal: Recognizes outstanding creativity and innovation
Impact Medal: Recognizes work highlighting critical social, cultural, environmental, or political issues
Narrative Medal: Recognizes excellence in storytelling through visual representation
Collaborative Medal: Recognizes outstanding team submissions
Practitioner Medal: Recognizes outstanding professional work

Open to creatives from all disciplines and backgrounds, including architects, designers, and artists
Recognizes visual representations across a diverse range of styles, typologies and approaches within the built environment

Core Introduction
The Drawing of the Year Awards is the seventh annual global awards organized by Archisource, celebrating excellence in visual representation and creative imagery. As one of the largest prize pools of its kind, the Awards are free to enter globally and collaborate with industry-leading brands including HP, Intel, D5 Render, and Affinity to provide professional tools and resources that support creative practice. Top works will be exhibited at London Creates 2026, the major creative exhibition at The Truman Brewery in London, alongside world-renowned studios and creative practitioners. All submissions are reviewed by an expert judging panel of leading practitioners from across architecture, design, and visual culture.
